Meet Aaron and His Family!

Aaron, known to many as Big A or the BBQ Guy, is a devoted husband, father, son, and friend who loves the Lord and his family well.  He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Disease when his daughter was only a couple months old and had to begin dialysis shortly after her 1st birthday.  At the beginning of 2023, after working hard to lose well over 200 pounds, Aaron was cleared to begin the kidney transplant evaluation process at four different hospitals and is now listed on each of their transplant lists (noted below). Since being listed, the hospitals back date his time on the wait list from the first day he began dialysis  - 3 years this coming March 2024.

Currently, Aaron and his wife perform all of his hemo-dialysis treatments at home, 5 days a week for multiple hours at a time.  He continues to work a full-time job to support his wife and daughter the best he can, despite his qualifications to receive disability.  This is quite an undertaking, but, without a transplant, this is the best care Aaron can give his family.
